SATURDAY
Signing: Dancehall and Reggae artist Ky-Mani Marley will autograph 
his book Dear Dad for fans as well as perform at this year's Ottawa 
Reggae Festival. Dear Dad chronicles the young Ky-Mani's gritty 
ascent out of the bullet-riddled life of street conflict and crack 
selling. Meet Marley from 10 to 11 a.m. at Sankofa, 430 Rideau St.

Signing: George Caron will be signing his book, Mouse on a String 
at the Prison For Women, at Chapters Rideau from noon to 3 pm. 
Caron was a warden at a women's prison during the 1970s and 
1980s.

Signing: T. Robert Fowler will sign copies of his book Courage 
Rewarded: The Valour of Canadian Soldiers Under Fire 1900-2007, 
from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Gift Boutique of the Canadian War Museum.

Presentation: Guy Thatcher will be discussing his book A Journey of 
Days: Relearning Life's Lessons on the Camino de Santiago, on 
Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. at the Gloucester Presbyterian Church, 91 Pike 
St. Also on Aug. 25, The Cove Country Inn presents "An Evening 
with Guy Thatcher" at 7 p.m. The Cove Country Inn is located at 2 
Bedford-on-the-Water, Westport, Ont.

Reading: Writer, actor and former Ottawa resident Andrew Binks 
reads from and signs his novel The Summer in Between, at 
Chapters Rideau, 47 Rideau St., on Aug. 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
